What We Believe

We feel strongly about the Word of God and walking uprightly in His commandments. Please review our beliefs to understand our morals and boundaries

Firm Foundation

Matthew 7:24-25

"Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock."

Our Mission

We are a multi-cultural church with a mandate by God to bring awareness of the presence of God into the city. We are called to pursue worship and prayer and to empower believers with the ministry the Word and the Holy Ghost. In order to be effectively and continuously demonstrate the message of the redeeming love of God to our city, and our nation, and the entire world.

We believe that Jesus is unchanging in his power, to save, heal, and deliver humanity from oppression and hopelessness. We believe in and depend upon the presence of the Holy Ghost to fulfil the great commission: "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"   Matthew 28:19

Beliefs

Our Beliefs

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus was 100% human and 100% divine. We believe that He was Mary’s son and Mary’s God, Creator and creature, God manifest in the flesh; that the flesh of Jesus was the same as ours, with the exception that it had no sin; that Jesus was the Eternal Father made visible, apart from whom there is no God.

The Word

of God

We believe the Scriptures are inspired by God and declare His design and plan for mankind. God’s Word is true, authoritative, and sufficient.

Salvation

We believe that following the acceptance of Jesus as the savior, one must repent of their sins, be baptized in water, in the name of Jesus. Having done that they will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit as evidenced by speaking in other tongues and a change in way of life. followed by the fruit of the Spirit

Common Need

We believe that in Christ, there is neither Jew nor Greek, bond or free, man or woman. To this end, we stand firmly against every form of discrimination. We believe that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and that sinful state necessitated a need for a savior. Thus salvation is indiscriminately available to all.

The Christian Walk

As Christians we are to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, and worship God joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today.

The Future

Jesus Christ is coming again to catch away His church. In the end will be the final resurrection and the final judgment. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death. (See I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15.)
